Is my deposit safe and secure?
Yes. We treat your funds safety very seriously, and take no shortcuts. Once your deposit has been registered, the funds go directly to your account. All the information is encrypted, and as long as you don't share your password with anybody (and use an adequate password), you remain the only person with access to your account.
If you want to increase the security of your account, you can enable the optional two-factor authentication method.
How long does it take for my funds to appear in my account?
This depends on your depositing method. Depositing funds through a bank wire transfer takes between 5 and 7 working days. Using your credit or debit card, or an e-wallet platform (such as Neteller, PayPal, or Skrill) is virtually instantaneous.
Is there a minimum deposit amount?
Keep in mind that in order to receive access to the full services Global Markets has to offer, you need to have a minimum of 250 USD / 220 EUR / 190 GBP in your trading account.
Are there any hidden fees?
Global Markets does not impose any hidden fees on depositing to your account. The only fees applied are to trading activities on the platform.
However, keep in mind this might be different on the other end of the transfer. Your bank or e-wallet might charge you fees, especially relating to currency exchange rates and online transfers. Make sure you check with your provider of services.

Can I deposit from a friend's account/card?
No. All deposits must originate from sources you own.
Can I deposit from a corporate credit/debit card?

ACCOUNT VERIFICATION
Why do I need to verify my account?
Global Markets is a strictly regulated financial service. In compliance with international money laundering laws, all accounts registered on our platform must be verified before we can provide services.
How do I verify my account?
To activate your Global Markets Trading accounts, you need to provide three documents – a proof of identity, proof of residency, and proof of payment. Please make sure the documents are:
- Yours (they need to be issued in your name);
- High-quality (clear and visible);
- Not cropped (clearly showing the 4 corners and, if applicable, both sides);
- Valid (not expired).
Proof of Identity
A government issued ID document with a colored photo (front and back if available):
- Passport;
- National ID;
- Driver’s License;
Proof of Residency
Any official document that includes your full name, physical address and issue date, that is not older than 3 months:
- Utility bills (electricity, water, gas, etc.);
- Tax bill;
- Bank statement
Proof of Payment
Whenever you use a new credit or debit card to deposit funds into your account, you need to submit a copy of the card used for the transaction.
For your privacy and security, you must cover the first 12 digits on the front. The last 4 digits and the CVV (last 3 digits on the back of your card) must remain clearly visible.
Please make sure the documents are:
- High-quality (clear and visible)
- Full (clearly showing 4 corners)
- Valid (not expired)
WITHDRAWALS
How do I withdraw my funds?
You simply login to your trading account, go to My Account >>> Banking >>> Withdrawal; fill in the amount and currency you would like to withdraw, select the withdrawal method, and press the Request a Withdrawal button.
Can I withdraw my money if I have an open position?
You can provided that you have enough free margin.
How long does it take to receive my money after I make a withdrawal request?
Depending on the processing banks, but in most cases, it takes between 5-7 business days.
Where can I withdraw my funds to?
You can only withdraw your money to the same account or card you used to deposit funds.
How long does it take for my funds to appear in my account/card?
Withdrawal requests are processed within 7 business days.
Can I withdraw my money if I have an open position?
You can—provided that you have enough free margin for your positions.

What instruments can I trade with through my Global Markets account?
You can trade on the price of Currency pairs (Forex), Commodities, Stocks, and Indices.

What is Stop Out / Negative Balance Protection?
Stop Out, or also called Negative Balance Protection ensures that your account will never go below zero.
Can I open more than one trading account?
Yes, only if you decide to.
What trading account types do you offer?

Will you close my real account if it has zero balance?

What are CFDs?
CFDs are Contracts for Difference - a popular form of derivative trading. CFD trading enables you to speculate on the rising or falling prices of fast-moving global financial markets, such as forex, indices, commodities, shares.
What is leverage?
Leverage is an investment strategy of using borrowed money — specifically, the use of various financial instruments or borrowed capital — to increase the potential return of an investment.
What leverage do you offer?
Different assets have different leverages, up to 1:200.
Leverage can be changed according to clients request and under special conditions.
What is spread?
Spread is the difference between the price at which the asset was bought and the price at which it was sold.
What is your spread?
Different assets and different account types have different spreads.

What is margin call?
Basically, this means that one or more of the securities held in the margin account has decreased in value below a certain point.
What is stop loss and what is take profit?
Stop loss (SL) is defined as a pending order that you tell or send to your broker telling them to limit the losses on an open position (or trade). Take profit (TP) or target price is a pending order that you tell or send to your broker informing them to close your position or trade when price reaches a certain price level in profit.
Is it possible to lose more than I deposited? What if my account's balance becomes negative?
Your account cannot have a negative balance and you cannot lose more than you invested, because you trade only with your money that you have previously invested.
